Nick here!
Today you will learn how to play UNO with the official rules!
Uno is one of the most popular card games in the world and the Uno card game rules are often full of house rules so this video will teach you the official rules in a concise way. Wanna know how to play a reverse? or if you can play multiple Wild Draw 4 cards? or even how to use multiple action cards? This guide is for you.

FAQ

– Question: What happens if the first card drawn at the beginning of the game is an Action Card (Wild Card, Reverse, etc)?
– Answer: Except for the Wild Draw 4 card, you should play the effect. Example, if skip card is the first card, then the first player skips his turn. If you draw a Wild Draw 4 card, return the card to the deck and pick another card.

– Question: What happens if we tie during the drafting at the beginning to decide the dealer?
– Answer: The tied players draw one card each. If there is still a tie, draw again until the tie resolves.

– Question: Can I stack a +4 on a +4?
– Answer: In the official rules, no. You can only play the latest +4 effect.

Hope you enjoy!

The object of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hands.
The player on the left of the dealer goes first.
Play then proceeds clockwise unless the cards change the order.
On your turn, you must match a card from your hand to the card on top of the discard pile, either by number, color, or symbol.
If you have a matching card in your hand, play it on the discard pile.
If a player does not have a card that matches the one on the discard pile, they must draw a card from the draw pile.
If the card you draw can be played, you are free to play it down on the same turn.
Otherwise, play moves to the next player.
Now lets go through the action cards.
Draw two card.
When played, the next player must draw 2 cards and lose their turn.
Reverse Card.
When this card is played, the direction of play is reversed from clockwise to counterclockwise or vice versa.
Skip Card.
When played, the next player in order of play is skipped.
The draw two, reverse and skip cards need to be played on a matching color or another card of the same type.
Wild Card.
This card matches any color and when played, the player who played it gets to choose the color that continues play.
Wild Draw 4 Card.
This card matches any color and when played, the next player must draw 4 cards from the draw pile and skip its turn. The player who plays this card gets to choose the color that continues play.
However, a player may only play this card when they do not have another card in hand that matches the color on the discard pile.
Players can bluff and play it even if the rule is not respected, but if another player challenges the play, the challenged player must show their hand.
If the challenged player is innocent, the player that issued the challenge must draw 6 cards.
If the challenged player is guilty, they must draw 4 cards.
Wild Shuffle hands Card.
This card matches any color and when played, collect every card from each player’s hand, shuffle them and deal them back, starting with the player on your left.
Then, choose the color that continues play. Play then continues in the current direction the game was played.
Wild Customizable card.
You can make your own wild rules with these cards.
Prior to playing the game, write your own special rules.
Now that you know all the action cards, let’s talk about the end of a round.
When a player plays their next to last card, they must say “UNO” to indicate they have one card left. If they don’t yell “UNO” and they are caught before the next player begins their turn, they must draw two cards.
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins!
There is an optional victory method you can play based on scoring.
When a player wins a hand, they receive points according to the hands the opponents are left holding following the table below.
When a player reaches 500 points, they win!
